LASOONA in collaboration with Norwegian Church Aid (NCA), successfully organized an Advocacy Seminar on Emerging Environmental Degradation Issues under the project “Faith in Action – Mobilising Civil Society for Lasting Social Change (CES & CR WASH).”

Environmental degradation is an escalating concern affecting livelihoods, agriculture, food security, and community well-being. Recognizing the urgency, this seminar aimed to raise awareness, influence policy dialogue, and foster collective action toward sustainable and climate-resilient development.

The event convened key stakeholders, including representatives from communities, civil society, district administration, government departments, agriculture, forest, fisheries, education, TMA, rescue services, local government representatives, academia, media, civil defense, and youth forums.

Through interactive sessions and expert presentations, participants discussed:

🎓 The vital role of academia and youth in environmental protection
