LASOONA Joins the Global 16 Days of Activism 2025
Theme: End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls

We officially launched the 16 Days of Activism campaign—reinforcing our commitment to ending gender-based violence both online and offline.
More than 50 team members participated in an insightful awareness session led by a legal expert. The discussion covered key legal frameworks, including:

✅ Women Protection Acts (2011 & 2021)
✅ Anti-Harassment Laws
✅ Cyber Crimes Act 2016

Participants pledged to actively support prevention efforts and help build a safer, respectful, and gender-equal society.

This year’s campaign will feature:
✔️ Awareness sessions with staff and communities
✔️ Wall of Voices reflection space
✔️ Orange legal awareness corners across LASOONA offices
✔️ Theatre-based community engagement
✔️ A 16-day digital campaign promoting safety, rights, and accountability online
This launch marks the beginning of meaningful dialogue and collective action toward safe digital spaces and a violence-free society.
