Mr. Barkat Ali is holding DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineer), BA Sociology, and MBA degree. Presently he is working as Project Manager- WASH Project. He has previously worked with LASOONA in the capacity of Project Officer-Engineering in various projects of LASOONA. He started his professional career with Malakand Rural Development project (MRDP) as Sub Engineer in year 2002. He protracted his expertise as Engineer with Shaukat and Associates (Pvt) Ltd, With Kumho E&C (Engineering and Construction) Middle East, and with LASOONA as Wash engineer and Project Officer-Infrastructure respectively.
Mr. Barkat Ali is sound in WASH, Engineering Cost estimates, AutoCad and Engineering infrastructure. In his professional career, Mr. Barkat Ali obtained trainings on Environmental impact assessment from Sustainable development policy institute (SDPI). Disaster waste management. Technical Components of camp closure. Managing people and projects, and DRR, CBDRM.
Mr. Barkat Ali had an exposure visit to Nepal and studied the engineering structure and SALT (Sloping Agriculture Land Technology) at International Center for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD). He was also awarded for his best performance Award for the year 2006 by LASOONA.
