Manager Programs

Mr. Noor Malik completed his post graduate degree in Political Science from Peshawar University KP Pakistan. Over the 20 years’ association with development sector he has successfully completed his assignments while working for various national organizations. He is a zealous development practitioner, have a blend experience of programmes related to services delivery and citizen centered advocacy. His divers professional career encompasses working on gross roots communities and management level where he worked on programme management positions for more than 11 years.

Mr. Malik is currently leading LASOONA’s programme implementation department as Manager Programmes since 2011.The department is mainly responsible for the implementation of various programs and projects to ensure that all programs and projects successfully achieve its targets in terms of both quantity and quality. It formulates, implements and supports quality enhancement measures in program, support processes and strategic expansion to maximize outreach. The department ensures compliance of organizational commitments with stakeholders and achieve the intended outcomes of the projects/programmes. Provides technical support in conducting impact assessments including internal evaluations of completed projects and provides technical support in designing tools, data collection, analysis and reporting.

He has hands-on expertise in developing and implementation of organizational strategic plan and have supervised successful completion of 29 projects in 17 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan and federally administered triable area (FATA). Beside regular development programmes Mr. Malik has implemented humanitarian projects in response to the Pakistan earthquake 2005, and 2015, Pakistan flood 2010 and temporarily dislocated people affected during various conflicts.

Mr. Malik has understanding of the development spectrum as a whole and have expertise in management of programmes related to food and nutrition security, livelihoods, TEVT, DRR, WASH, health, education, governance, climate change, humanitarian response, capacity building as well as gender and protection mainstreaming. His expertise got strengthened through his involvements in planning/implementation of various projects/programs and formal trainings both at national and international level. He has demonstrated skills of Programme/Project management, including planning, effective implementation, evaluation, financial management, procurement, HR, computer and stakeholders’ management. He has facilitated various trainings and workshop, developed training manuals, IEC material, drafted programme strategies and published reports.
