  Donor Agency:

Welthungerhilfe / BMZ

  Project Locations:

District Shangla

Project Goal:

To contribute to the eradication of poverty and hunger for a resilient society where women and children are optimally nourished.

The project follows a nutrition-sensitive approach to increase the food security and quality of the target groups, especially women and children under 5 years of age. The proposed interventions aim to promote resilience among the target households and thus ultimately improve the nutritional situation. The project involves target groups in its implementation in order to ensure participatory decision-making, thus acceptance and adoption of the measures, as well as to build up knowledge and practices in the long term and contribute to their continuation after the end of the project. The networking and complementarity of measures and sectors that contribute to food security as well as the cooperation of the target groups is necessary for successful implementation and is also the aim of the project to build long-term resilience.
